Prefabricated composite heat activated waterproofing membrane composed of distilled bitumen and special polymers which provide thermal adhesive properties to the lower face waterproofing mass. The upper face waterproofing mass promotes heat transmission to the lower face. The thermal activated waterproofing mass allows the membrane to be positioned and applied without the use of open flame and is particularly indicated for those surfaces which are heat sensitive. PROTETTO has woven non woven single strand composite polyester reinforcement, with high mechanical characteristics. The lower face is backed by a special release film which must be removed during application. The P version has a polypropylene mat upper face finish. The PA version upper face of the membrane is self-protected with brun bourgogne colored mineral slates, which reduce heat absorption improving durability, and has a 10 cm side selvedge and 15 cm head selvedge to promote the adhesion between the sheets.
The bitumen-polymer PLURA SELF-ADHESIVE ZERO membranes are the arrival point of the latest generation of membranes denominated “composite”. These membranes are thus defined because thanks to a production technology developed in 1995, Pluvitec can produce materials with differentiated waterproofing mass, which allow the optimal utilization of each components properties, satisfying the different requirements. PLURA SELF-ADHESIVE ZERO is also an innovative self-adhesive product where adhesion, resistance to adhesion to aging and cold adhesion have been enhanced.

These membranes are so defined because thanks to new manufacturing technologies it is possible to produce materials with differentiated waterproofing mass, which allow the optimal utilization of each components properties, satisfying the different requirements. The PLURA SELF-ADHESIVE membranes are capable of resolving specific application and functional requirements and present numerous and important advantages, such as ease of application with consequential savings on time and the possibility to apply the material on surfaces which are not suitable to open flame. Therefore PLURA SELF-ADHESIVE is insuperable in the waterproofing of wood structures, insulation panels which are heat sensitive, panel decks and refurbishment of historical roofs. Furthermore PLURA SELF-ADHESIVE can be used and allows the waterproofing of particular roof details (ex. bandaging of plastic tubes, etc.) and the possibility to also apply with the traditional application method of open flame or hot air, obtaining an exceptional level of adhesion. PLURA SELF-ADHESIVE guarantees a perfect level of adhesion to the application surface, providing the system with an excellent level of wind uplift resistance and allowing accidental infiltrations to be traced.
Prefabricated thermal activated composite waterproofing membrane, composed of distilled bitumen and special synthesis polymers, which provide thermal adhesion properties to the lower face waterproofing compound. The waterproofing compound of the upper face allows for fast heat transmission to the lower face. The thermal activated waterproofing compound allows the product to be positioned and applied without the initial use of heat and is particularly indicated for those surfaces where the use of direct open flame is not suggested.

PLURA THERMO AD VAPOUR BARRIER is conceived specifically to adhere insulation panels to various types of substrates, providing total adhesion.
Pre-fabricated composite waterproofing membrane. The compound is made of distilled bitumen and elastomers (SBS type), reinforced with fiberglass and aluminium metal sheet that allows to obtain a barrier against the passage of vapour. The PLURA ZEBRA VAPOUR BARRIER membrane on the exposed side features a series of stripes formed by a special heat activated compound, separated by fine sand, which ensures a strong and durable adhesion to the insulating panels. The advantages of the PLURA ZEBRA VAPOUR BARRIER are basically those aimed at avoiding the use of oxidized bitumen and cold bonding substances (mastic, polyurethane glues, etc.) for the application and adhesion of insulating panels. The hot oxidized bitumen, in addition to being extremely dangerous (burns, fumes, etc.), loses in little time its adhesive capacity, exposing the covering to the known dangers due to the strength of persisting wind action and the deformations of the roof covering. In addition, the stripes ensures perfect adhesion on the entire surface of the insulating panel. In case of application on roofs with slopes higher than 15% or in a particularly windy area, it is necessary to integrate the bonding with suitable mechanical fasteners and/or strips inside in the stratigraphy. Particularly suitable for high thickness panels and/or sloped.
PLURA STRIP BALCONY SYSTEM is reinforced with a woven non woven single strand composite polyester fabric, having excellent mechanical characteristics as well as dimensional stability. The special surface finish made from slate microflakes makes the surface of the PLURA STRIP BALCONY SYSTEM membrane ideal and high-performance for the subsequent laying of flooring using cement-based adhesives. The underside of the product has selfadhesive strips designed to enable firm yet partial adhesion of the PLURA STRIP BALCONY SYSTEM membrane. This special and unique finish guarantees an adhesive surface of 50%, without affecting the function of dispersing the water vapour in the flooring underneath, thus eliminating the inconvenience of bubbles.
PLURA SELF-ADHESIVE ZERO V.B. are pre-fabricated waterproofing membrane for specific use as a total barrier to the passage of vapour. PLURA SELF-ADHESIVE ZERO V.B. has a continuous single strand composite woven non woven polyester reinforcement with high mechanical characteristics and an aluminium film which allows to obtain a barrier to the transmission of vapour. The lower face of PLURA SELF-ADHESIVE V.B. is protected with a removable silicon release film. The upper face is self protected with micro mineral slates that offer good walkability and improve grip of TECA adhesives (Millennium One Step, Pratiko Mastic, Bit Adhesive, etc.) for the adhesion of insulating panels; furthermore a removable side selvedge of 10 cm is foreseen. In the stratigraphy of the roof, PLURA AUTOADESIVO ZERO V.B. must be applied under the insulating panel, in order to preserve the latter from the condensation phenomena of water vapor, which certainly occurs, as the roof operating conditions change. PLURA SELF-ADHESIVE ZERO V.B. is an innovative self-adhesive with increased adhesiveness, enhanced resistance of the adhesion to aging and the cold (the product maintain good adhesion even at low temperatures).
